Up close with Mandrakke Dagger

Hello dear readers, I decided to present you some of my designer friends. Today i will be starting with one of my oldest friend, Mandrakke Dagger. I met him when i was almost a newb, at the club he was working at. From the first boots he made that i saw, i knew he had potential, always careful of details. Highly detailed touches added to make every pair unique. No matter what you want, you will find a boot to suit your desires. Mandrakke is currently part of the Runway perfect hunt going from oct. 1st to oct. 31st, offering sexy boots for all the ladies. Find different pairs every week in his 60L weekends vendors.

Hi Mandrakke, Thank you for accepting to do an interview with me.

Morgane: Mandrakke, how did you discover about Second Life?

Mandrakke: I was working with a guy as a level designer and he had mentioned people making real money on games like Second Life, a couple weeks later I stumbled across Second Life from an article in a real estate magazine talking about a guy that got rich selling virtual land so i figured I would take a look.

Morgane: What were you doing in SL, before you start working?

Mandrakke: Playing in the casinos when they were still legal but that didn’t last too long, I think within a month of me being here, the Lindens banned gambling across the grid.

Morgane: What was your first job in SL? Did you like it?

Mandrakke: Technically I guess my first job would have been security at Provocative Night Club and yes it was fun.

Morgane: How did you come up with the idea of creating boots?

Mandrakke: It was either going to be hair or boots and boots allowed more creativity and variety and hair confused the hell out of me. I didn’t know where to start

Morgane: Did you have a specific idea of what your style of boots was going to be?

Mandrakke:  In the beginning, I just wanted a small variety, I didn’t have anything set in stone because this was all new to me, I didn’t know what was popular, I just wanted to make a name for myself and see where it would take me.

Morgane: Can you describe us what type of boots you create?

Mandrakke:  I create anything from ankle boots to crotch high boots. The one thing that you will find is a lot of them are themed. Everyone is different and has different tastes so I am creating an endless variety of “flavors” and lifestyles for everyone from a nice simple traditional design to an meticulous one of a kind of boot that still has sex appeal.

Morgane: Can you tell us, what makes Drakke boots what they are?

Mandrakke:  Well I would have to say there are a few things, one being the detail I put into each boot design, they do not get released until they are perfect and everything is lined up correct or get smacked up side the head and get told they are done. =) The other thing that stands out is the chrome heel and sole, and now the realistic gold heels, if it has a chrome heel, its a Drakke’s, or a cheap copycat.

Morgane: Do you create other things aside to boots?

Mandrakke: No no <smiles> only boots for the time being, the group keeps me busy with new designs but Shade Designs does create matching outfits and they are part of the same store so you can get completely sexified with boots and matching outfits

Morgane: What do you like the most in designing?

Mandrakke: The endless possibilities limited only to your mind. It lets you explore and create anything and everything.

Morgane: Mandrakke, what can we expect from you in the future?

Mandrakke: Well with the introduction of mesh in Second Life, I am thinking I might step… verbally of course… into heels, but that is still a ways into the future and you might be seeing a lot more of Drakke in the news if all goes well.

Morgane: What is your past time in SL when you are not working?

Mandrakke: Not much lol, now a days I work until I fall asleep it seems, my goal is to make Drakke my primary business in all worlds and with that, it doesn’t leave much free time for the time being but when we do find free time, it’s usually goofing around or watching something together, talking, or looking up useless facts and goofy clips on the Internet and if there is a lot of free time, we might run to a CCS sim.

Morgane: Anything you would like to say about you to those reading this right now?

Mandrakke: Hmm, I am crazy, funny, annoying at times, and don’t take things seriously other than my dedication to this business. And of course Thank You to everyone, without them I wouldn’t be here. Please spread the word, if you like what I do, it’s the best thing you can do to help me keep doing it. I have big plans but without the voice of the people, I am only one man.

Drakke rocks my feets

Did you ever want boots that makes you look sexy, fun, elegant, fashionable, original and stylish?

Of course you do, i invite you to take a look at some of the awsome boots created by my dear old friend *we know each other for 2 years in sl* Mandrakke Dagger, the owner and creator of Drakke.

Whether you want super sexy thigh high, knee high or ankle boots. you will certainly have love at first sight with his boots. I been wearing them for almost 2 years. His tissue textures are incredibly realistic, his metals are shiny to perfection.

I remember when Drakke opened, even tho he was new to the boots creation, they were already AWSOME! And now, he has a great diverse style of boots. They are easy to recognize, i love the lil touch he adds that makes them unique, either its rotating prims between the sole and heel or the great realistic lacing to tie, to the shiny metallic sole & heel.

Let me present you some of my personal favorites. I love so many that i had to make choices of which to show you.

Melody in black

Melody in dark red

Have you ever seen such original boots? Melody has a dangling music note on the outside and a treble clef crossing the heel. The boots are offered in multiple choices of colors from pale to dark.

Cover Girl in white

How about Cover Girl, stylish boots to go with your short dresses, they will show off your long legs in fashion. This version in white has realistic silver large buckles with silver sole & heels. Also offered in a great range of colors!

Divine in dark blue

Just look at the great lacing on thoses knee boots. They are sexy, just as you are! This version is in dark blue but there is so many colors to choose from.

Similar to the style of the boots you just saw, here is a short version with the same great quality lacing and textures. Theses boots are perfect to wear with soooo many things, it is sober, classical, even reminds us of the ancient times boots. Just by looking at them i get so many styling ideas around it. This version is in black with a silver sole & heel.

Vintage in dark red

The vintage boots, don’t you just love the style of it, look at the silky texture of theses red boots, they are just perfect! Mandrakke knows how to add theses little touches that gives the boots the IT.

Sacred in limited edition black

OMG look at theses boots, arent they gothly adorable? The crosses hung by a red chain surrounds the top of the boots between the buckles, a line of closses goes over the foot with another dangling cross AND a rotating cross inside the circle between the sole & heel. This black version is a limited edition, the original edition is in silver instead of gold. A ankle boot version is also available.

J'adore Special edition

Feeling romantic? how about theses J’adore ankle boots. A nice gold chain surrounds the ankle with 2 crossing hearts on the outsides, dancing hearts also on the outsides and one rotating inside the other one between the sole & heel. This version is a special edition.

All Drakke boots comes with a sl 1 and 2 versions meaning alpha prims and alpha layers. resizable scripted which comes with a kill script option in the menu. Drakke is part of the 60L weekends and also has a Midnight Mania board.

I digged through SL to find awsome halloween fashion products.. I have many awsome designers creations to present you. Drakke, Felicious, Shade, Lingerie Boutique, Miasnow clothing, Mango Mango, La Malvada Mujer.

Let’s start with Shade in team with Drakke!

Shade, known for her tiny sexy skirts came out with her halloween outfit. Her webbed sexy outfit come with pumkin orange attachments and orange spiders jewelry. Drakke known for his incredible boots, easily recognizable with its shiny silver heels and sole created webbed ankle boots with orange spiders and a awsome web under the sole. The boots comes with invisiprims and also a alpha layer, so either you are on the old viewer or recent, you can wear them!

Then, one of their best friend from Felicious, one of the coolest neko i ever met, created costumes for the halloween season.

what do you want to be for halloween? a witchy kitty or police kitty? both outfits comes with everything you see on the pictures except skins and hair. The tails and ears are gender / 2-way scripted with fun menus.

Happy Halloween / Samhain!

Evane Fall fashion show part 2

Greetings,

Thursday, oct. 7th, i had the honor of doing my first EVANE fashion show. The experience was amazing, loved it loved it! Thanks Mimmi for the awsome show.. mwaaaaaaaaaaaaa

So, i wanted to present you the 4 dresses that i wore in the show. We started off with Analee Balut (ALB), followed by B! Fashion, then Anubis Style, and finally Tres Beau.

Starting with ALB, i am wearing YSL Impression. The beautiful grey toned and blue jacket with more options for a shorter coat is included in the set. Worn with the Milano boots, the Dior impression variety hat and the romance leaves stockings also available at ALB.

Next in line is B! Fashion, i am wearing Incanto. This stunning dress in black and golden comes with a matching headpeice and the cute shoes. It is totally a head turner, no matter where you go, you will be noticed.

Then from Anubis Style, i am wearing Enza. A very elegant shades of blue dress, perfect for a romantic dinner or go dancing at a classical or blues concert. The dress has a long naked backline, as pretty from back than front.

Last but not least is Tres Beau, i am wearing Lady Tux. High class, different, inventive are some words to describe this outfit that i totally fell in love with. It comes with added features to change the size of bow in the back alone without the long skirt. A sculpted prim makes the folds at the front of the body keeping in mind our female forms and the top hat. Wear this at a formal event and you will even make the males jalous of how great you look in a tux!

my findings of the week

hello all, here is some creations i was lucky to put my hand on.

Including mango mango, alatiel, celtic rose, the white armory, drakke, felicious.

From Mango Mango, i was lucky to get the Honey Bee skin that is this week’s special for Hump day for 69L only.

I had posted a picture the other week of the Finbar dress from Celtic Rose, and told the dress had been updated since i bought the dress, so here is the updated version.

Now, for boots addicts, Mandrakke Dagger from !Drakke! does AWSOME boots, this week a new knee high boot is coming out, Captive. 

These boots come with a  new resizer script, faster and with a script remover once adjusted, copy no transfer because it includes two sets, one for viewer one, the other for viewer 2 and Emerald.

They will come in black, brown, white, tan, dark red, dark blue, dark violet, and dark green.

Then finally, 2 outfits from Felicious, Fe created a Mischievious Kitty complete outfit and Strawberry shortcake outfit, which you can have a strawberry to sit on.
